Feed the Pony came about with the wish to deliver modern Northern European cuisine with exquisitely paired drinks and low intervention wine. Our focu s lies on regional as much as seasonal products. We constantly try to work with suppliers, farmers and ﬁsherman etc. from our region as well as foraging for ingredients ourselves to bring a different dimension to the menu and pairings.
The collaboration between Ireland and Germany comes from Marty and Rose spending time outside Dublin in Restaurant Aimsir whilst Maja and Hannah met in kitchen of Palsta. The ﬁrst event combined wines form Bianka & Daniel Schmitt vineyard in Rheinhessen with Nordic plates to excellent acclaim in September 2019.
With our passion for wines/drinks pairings that have a low impact on the earth from which they are grown we wish to deliver an experience that can reﬂect our time with both NOMA and Kadeau families amongst others over the years.
